Twinkle by Wenlan Spring 2010

Ok so I know it's not even fall yet, but looking through pics of Twinkle's spring show is already making me excited for the weather to become warm again! Always a Helianthus favorite, this show didn't fail to produce completely wearable, yet still original and interesting dresses, tops and leggings. The designer showed intricate prints in both black and white, along with multi-colored pastel shades. And I was even in love with the classic makeup the models wore -- bold brows and red lips with subdued eyes. So gorg! Suffice it to say, this will be my inspiration come spring 2010. (Sounds soo far away, doesn't it?!) See below for my top pics:

I've just completely fallen in love with this dress. From the pastel colors, to the original print and cut, I don't think any other summer dress could top this one!

Myne Fall 2009 Arrivals!

While designer Ashley Ann got her start outfitting extras for "The Last Samuri," the movie definitely did not influence her own collection. Appropriately titled Myne, it takes inspiration from designer Stella McCartney's ultra-cool asthetic and actress Rachel Bilson's fresh, vintage style. Myne boasts fitted silk, printed mini dresses, tops and skirts with original prints. It's cute without being too fussy and is very easy to wear.

It's fitting that Bilson is Ashley Ann's muse, as she seems to be a fan of the line, along with other celebs such as Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Simpson and Audrina Patridge. See below for our new Myne arrivals, and stop by Helianthus to check them out!

Despite the horrible weather this Saturday, Karen Walker's spring 2010 show was still filled with tons of press, editors, and buyers, including me!
