Bensoni Fall 2009

New York-based line Bensoni creates the perfect mix of structured -- yet still girlie -- ensembles. Not only do creators Benjamin Channing Clyburn and Sonia Yoon consistently turn out original, statement pieces, but they don't sacrifice quality in the process either. Helianthus is especially in love with Bensoni's fall collection -- and we're getting an amazing selection in stores next week! Here's a little sneak preview of what is to come:

Why is it always so difficult to find a cute dress with long sleeves? This purple number is perfect for chilly fall days and easily transforms from day to night -- no cardigan required.

This printed, oversize blazer is perfect for adding dimension to a dark-hued wardrobe. It's versatility also makes it a must-have: Throw it over everything from dresses to trousers and skinny jeans!

The combination of pale pink and black lace makes this dress the perfect mix of girlie and edgy. A great statement frock for nights out!

Fall 2009 Collection

The Jasper Jacket is great for the fall -- love the ruffles! Pair it up with the Marlow skirt ( We have it in pink multi checkers ) and tights. The perfect fall outfit!

Jason Cauchi says "It's not about day to evening, it's about creating the perfect dress, period." I believe this is the perfect dress- the Ryan dress. Simple yet so very special.

Rihanna rocks the Jasper Jacket in leather. She looks totally edgy and chic!

Iosselliani Jewelry

Roberta Paolucci and Paolo Giacomell began Iosselliani in Rome in 1997. Both designers base their creativity on new materials. Their first collections was successful due to the special techniques used during production, such as a fusion of stainless steel mesh and silver as well as hand-carved crystals collection. Iosselliani is strongly influenced by the Italian classic jewelry. Paolo and Roberta combine their love for vivid materials craftedinto modern shapes with the enormous heritage of tradition, creating a transversal, contemporary jewelry.

All in all, Iosselliani's vision is all about the material and the classic yet contemporary, edgy look.

Iosselliani has been featured in magazines like Teen Vogue and Zink.

Who What Wear Insiders picked an Iosselliani ring as a favorite accessory.

Skin is Sexy

From everywhere you go, you see the infamous destroyed jeans -- it is undeniable that cutouts in denim is hot. And now so is the cut-out shoulder trend. Baring some skin by the shoulders is the new trend for this season. It's a little bit 80's, a little bit badass but flirty, and definitely a whole lot sexy.

We've seen it on the Fall '09 runway looks from designers like Hervé Leger, Charlotte Ronson, and Jonathan Saunders.

And we've seen in the streets by fashionistas like yourself. If not, you should swing by Helianthus and see what we have in store for this trend.

This is by Kloset's spring/summer 2009 collection. We have it in green and its great for the summer. The spaghetti straps hold it up and the rest falls down on the shoulders for a flirty look.

One of our absolute favorites... this fuschia Bensoni dress is the epitome of this shoulder-baring trend.
