Style Icon: Rihanna

Since her launch into the music industry in 2006-7 with Pon de Replay, Rihanna has quickly risen to a style icon constantly photographed by the media.  Recently she's been making a transformation from tough girl to softer, flowery girl; from Alexander Wang to Stella McCartney her outer style corresponds to her inner feelings.  In an interview done by Kanye West this month Rihanna reveals her recent outlook on life and where she's going.  Said Rihanna:

"I think a lot of people have a misperception of me. They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side. But every woman is vulnerable. So of course I am going to have that side. . . . I just don’t like people to see me cry."
